About Rocky Mountain Legal Center

Since our inception in June 2010, RMLC has represented over 500 clients in State and Federal Court and provided free legal services to over 2500 individuals.

Rocky Mountain Legal Center exists to serve the unmet needs of our low-income community and bridge the justice gap for those who might not otherwise have access to our legal system.

E-mail or call 720-242-8642 for more information on our services or to schedule an appointment.

After 14 years in the practice of law, a lawyer, together with a paralegal, family counselor, and college intern, decided that everyone, regardless of income, should have access to our legal system and they gave up their existing jobs to make it happen.

Open in 2010, Rocky Mountain Legal Center is a non-profit community service organization committed to serving the good of others at our financial cost.

The current economic climate and high unemployment rate has led to an increase in legal problems and pushed many individuals and families into poverty for the first time.

Studies indicate that on average only one free legal aid attorney is available for every 6,145 low-income people.  In contrast, there is one private attorney for every 429 people above the poverty threshold.
